Privacy Policy

I will respect your privacy.

It is the nature of therapy that you will be expected to be as honest and open as possible, both about your feelings and actions, and the feelings and actions of others. I will respect your privacy per the ethical standards of my profession.

There may be times when I am obliged to share your information and my conclusions and opinions with others, particularly when, in my opinion, there is a danger to yourself or to others; and when I am required to do so by court order or law. Barring these circumstances, your personal information is private.

Records and notes from our sessions as kept in locked files, and electronic information is secure and password protected.

Prior to your first appointment, you are encouraged to review my Notice of Privacy Practices, which outlines my practices and obligations.
